Sammie L. Robinson, Ph.D. is an experienced Executive/Professional Coach and Education expert who specializes in supporting leaders, executives, professionals and students that are seeking exponential professional and personal growth, career competency and confidence building strategies.
Dr. Robinson successfully concluded a rewarding career of 22 years in Higher Education. She has held faculty appointments at the undergraduate level and in graduate programs in the United States and internationally. She is a part-time instructor for MBA programs in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Dr. Robinson has transitioned her years of experience in academia to consulting and coaching extensively in several knowledge areas of organizational management and human behavior.
Dr. Robinson’s coursework is extensive and spans the knowledge spectrum in organizational behavior and management, innovative leadership, human resource management, team-building and organizational change, conflict resolution and negotiation, strategic management, organizational theory, entrepreneurship, business ethics, corporate social responsibility and risk management.
She is highly skilled in the use of multiple learning management systems. Dr. Robinson has developed a broad range of management course offerings, presented leader development and coaching engagements, and delivered instruction in traditional, hybrid and virtual modalities. As a published researcher, Dr. Robinson is a skilled interviewer in both individual and focus group settings. Her expertise was gained through dissertation research and participation as principal co-investigator for funded research projects.
As a consultant and expert facilitator, Dr. Robinson has developed and delivered corporate training programs, conducted leadership training, conflict resolution seminars, teambuilding sessions and strategic planning workshops for entrepreneurs, businesses, professional organizations, not-for-profit groups and municipalities. Having worked closely with university, service and government entities, her coaching expertise lies in leadership, team performance and executive development coaching. She encourages clients to embrace new ways of thinking through offering solutions focused on raising awareness, changing behaviors and fostering growth.
Dr. Robinson earned a Ph.D. in Business from the University of Kansas, a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Southwestern University (Texas). She is also a certified trainer for DISCflexTM. This certification has been the foundation for behavior assessment and coaching for a law enforcement leadership academy and executive leadership training workshops for municipal department heads.
